Earth Explorer Weeks: Kids will get their heads in the clouds and dirt under their feet! They will learn about dirt, water, weather, plants, animals, and climate. They’ll also learn about our own Kern River. Crafts and projects will stretch their imagination.
Dig It! Archaeology Weeks: Kids will dig up some fun and learn about dinosaurs while identifying fossils and stretch their prehistoric knowledge. Kids will channel their inner Indiana Jones and unearth the exciting journey from field to lab. They will learn about people who once lived in this area.
Messy Science Weeks: Our young Scientists will spend the week getting their hands dirty as we dive into some messy science! Grab a lab coat and some safety goggles, and gloves, because it’s time to become scientists! Get involved in some icky, sticky experiments. Mix and blend concoctions to learn which chemicals react to cause flashes and bangs!
Master Maker Engineering weeks: From computers to clothing, from candy to everything around us, learn how it is engineered. Kids will join the maker movement and learn to use tools, explore different technologies, and engineer designs of their own!
Art Explosion Weeks: Children will be creative and learn how to draw, paint, mold clay, etc.. They will have a chance to create wonderful works of art.
Our themes are biweekly and change in activity weekly. All weeks include indoor and outdoor play, games, team building, creativity, education through fun/play, and subjects often intertwine.
